Several products from Studco Building Systems were supplied for a new 13-storeyed building on the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) campus.
The single largest facility to be constructed under UTS’ $1 billion City Campus Master Plan, the new Engineering and Information Technology Building is located at one of Sydney’s busiest intersections on Broadway, and provides a dramatic gateway to the campus and downtown Sydney.
The 13-storeyed building has been designed to support informal and formal learning experiences in a vibrant and collaborative environment for both students and staff.
Fast Stud supplied Studco’s Stud and Track, Flexi Track and Concealed Ceiling Systems to contractor Austem Interiors. Studco and Fast Stud were engaged for this project not only for their service quality but also their ability to provide quick solutions to challenging applications.
For instance, Studco’s Engineering team created an intricate specification for the curved main wall in the foyer entrance of the building. Studco collaborated with Fast Stud to provide a design that met the needs of the architect, builder and contractor.
