One of Sydney’s premier home shows, the HIA Sydney Home Show has returned to the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre. The show opened its doors today and runs until Sunday May 2010 and is open from 10am to 7pm daily.
For those planning a renovation project the HIA Sydney Home Show will feature a free 'Ask an Expert' consultation service that offers expert renovation advice and ideas from painters, builders, landscapers and kitchens and bathrooms designers.
The 'HIA BuildGreen Expo' is a new feature at this year’s HIA Sydney Home Show. This area will be showcasing the latest products, advice and solutions to convert an existing home or build a new "green" home.
This year, the 'Design Precinct' takes on a new theme, welcoming Luxury Home Design as a key partner. The Design Precinct will showcase cosmopolitan life-size rooms capturing emerging international trends with the latest from Tokyo, Copenhagen and London on display.
The line up this year includes Bromley & Tate Interiors, Baxter Creative, Liquid Colour, Orson & Blake, and Habitat Living.
The School of Colour & Design will also be offering free colour consultations in dedicated 2 hour workshops.
There will be over 250 exhibitors at the HIA Sydney Home Show showing their latest products, services and expert advice. With these exhibitors showcasing everything from flooring, bathroom fixtures and fireplaces, to double glazed doors, outdoor living, homewares, furniture, and home security, visitors are sure to find inspiration and ideas to enhance their homes and living areas.
