It is important to remember that lead security seals from Tamper Evident do not prevent access but have been designed to provide proof that tampering or unauthorised access has occurred.
Round lead security seals are constructed with two parallel holes and a knot chamber. When installed the wire or string is threaded through the two smaller holes and crossed inside the knot chamber. The device is then closed with the special sealing tool to prevent any slippage.

The seals have been manufactured from 99.9 per cent pure lead and sealing tools are supplied as standard with the YPL 9062 and YPL 9083 models. The customer also has the option of having the company name or logo engraved into the dies of the sealing pliers if desired.
