Technical Protection Systems supplied a range of galvanised, thermally broken steel windows and doors for a ‘ByJoost’ project in Daylesford, Victoria.
For the straw bale house constructed on a Daylesford hilltop, TPS worked closely with Joost Bakker to supply the windows and doors featuring the energy efficient Forster Unico thermally broken steel framing system.
The project required a combination of fixed lites, single doors, pair doors, and top hung awning windows, all of which needed to deliver a very high level of thermal insulation. The windows also needed to be manufactured in steel, have a galvanised coating, and be fully recyclable. The brief was fully met by Forster Unico.
