A TecHome CON50 linear actuator was selected by Stealth Welding & Custom Fabrication to create a hidden trap door leading to a cellar in a home in Brisbane’s North.
The concealed trap door uses the push-and-pull motion of the CON50 linear actuator to open the wooden floor and reveal a hidden staircase leading down to a cellar.
TecHome recommended a 200kg maximum load linear actuator with a 750mm stroke length for the Brisbane home project. The CON50 was selected by the fabricators for this application due to its versatility, high efficiency and small overall dimensions.
