The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) will be supplying their specialised security doors for the prestigious Sydney Light Rail project.
Due for completion in 2018, the Sydney Light Rail network will feature a 12km route extending from Circular Quay along George Street to Central Station and further to other eastern Sydney suburbs such as Moore Park, Kensington and Randwick.
With its head office located in Sydney’s Condell Park, ATDC is well placed geographically to contribute to this uniquely Sydney project with its specialised security doors.
ATDC has already installed their heritage style security doors at several State Rail and Sydney Trains sites including St James Station in Sydney’s Elizabeth Street, Museum Station, Wynyard Station, Wynyard Walk-Railway House, Westfield Railway Interchange Parramatta, and more recently Central Station including Sydney’s Light Rail platform entry. Future projects include an installation for Sydney Trains at North Sydney station.
Additionally, ATDC’s security doors have been installed at railway stations across the country including Townsville Railway Station and Brisbane International Airport’s Skytrain for Queensland Rail as well as for WA Rail and VicRail. ATDC has also supplied their doors for numerous tram stations for Metrail in the Melbourne metropolitan area.
ATDC’s steel security doors are precision engineered to offer effective deterrence against after hour entry. Featuring multipoint locking options and full frames for extra strength, these security doors fold out of the way and out of sight when not in use; when locked they help preserve the heritage appeal of traditional railway station facades.
The ATDC security door range includes the only two security doors of their type that comply with Australian Standards for sliding security doors, having successfully passed rigorous testing at a NATA approved testing facility in Sydney. ATDC’s security doors have alternative options for special egress locking under the deemed provisions of the BCA where applicable.
ATDC security doors are now also sold in Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Newcastle, Geelong and all regional towns across Australia.
