The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed its stylish expandable barriers to secure the storefront of the recently opened Scanlan Theodore outlet at Chapel St, South Yarra in Melbourne, Victoria.
Project design specifications
The 2.6-metre-high steel expandable barriers were configured in a bi-parting setup with each leaf folding back to the opposing sidewalls and then pivoting 90 degrees to hinge aside flat against each sidewall. This ensured there was no side-stack obstruction to the daytime opening width.
A lever handle was installed to the inside of the barriers for keyless egress in the event of an emergency.
The barriers were powdercoated in a special Dulux Monument finish to match the decorative high-end external façade of the tenancy.
Job specification
The specifying architects were the Paddington NSW-based Mcqualter Studio and the project manager for the installation was Demroc Building Group based in South Melbourne.
Warranty
A 12-month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.
