The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) offers heavy duty retractable security screens that fold back sideways when unlocked and opened, and are able to pivot 90 degrees away from the leaseline when in their stacked position.
The doors rotate in their stacked position at right angles to the opening on a carefully engineered self-supporting steel frame, which enables this pivoting action and thereby, reduces the side storage stacking space to virtually nothing.
The photos show a recently completed installation of six of these security doors for the NSW Department of Education at Condell Park High School. The installation was specified by ShakeUp Architecture and project managed by the Sydney-based Neo-Way Pty Ltd.
