Treotham Automation Pty Ltd has introduced large enclosures specifically designed to meet the diverse requirements of the wiring market. The BIG series wiring enclosures by ILME are ideal for installations with structured and complex wiring.
Featuring large dimensions, the new BIG series enclosures offer customers adequate space to store conductors. The width of the new enclosures is greater than previous versions, allowing the cable compartment to be fully accessible during assembly; the connector insert is fully inserted in the lower half of the enclosure.
ILME’s new BIG series offers three times the space of standard enclosures, making it possible to bend cables and pipes with greater bending radiuses. Being versatile and customisable for multiple cable entries, these wiring enclosures are particularly suitable for MIXO modular inserts.
Each insert is used to manage power and signal electrical connections, and pneumatic, fibre optic or Ethernet connections. The dedicated entry allows use of one BIG connector enclosure for installations that previously required two. The enclosure can be split in two halves if required to simplify the installation of the insert. The insert can also be connected with a cable and later inserted in the lower half of the enclosure (except for the 6 poles version).
