Emerson is a collection of beautifully created luxury townhomes in the heart of Lindfield, NSW. Designed by Giles Tribe Architects and built by Rudder Group, the townhouses stand out for their three-storey structures as well as a pleasing exterior design that is well matched to the existing streetscape. Each townhouse features an exclusive lift, with luxury interiors by Coco Republic.
A particularly clever feature is the 90-degree silicone join corner window in the study nook in each home. Using glass instead of a solid wall maximises the aspect of this small space to create a boundless feel.
High performing glass was incorporated into the build during the design phase to address key efficiency considerations such as heat gain, heat loss and acoustics. Wideline devised a solution with double glazed windows that would satisfy the project scope and ensure the comfort of future residents.
Wideline’s team led the installation of doors in the townhouses, providing their technical expertise to ensure a flush finish. The threshold of Paragon’s sliding door sub frame was integrated with the Stormtech drain system, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing finish that ensures a seamless transition between the indoor timber floor and outdoor balcony in this luxury living space.
Wideline products installed at the luxury Lindfield townhouses included awning windows, Fixlite windows, sliding doors and stacking doors, all in a Dulux Monument Matt finish.
Emerson won the Townhouse / Villa of the Year title at the 2019 HIA NSW Housing Awards.
