The frame of these swing doors is constructed from architectural grade 4 mm extruded aluminium sections. The stile and head is mitred, welded and braced prior to finishing. A high gloss hammertone powder coating is used for the finish to these doors. It is chip resistant and easy to clean. For extra high doorways multi leaf designs are available and for applications such as hospitals a silent option can be purchased. These swing doors can be standard mounted, side mounted or heavy duty mounted.
The PVC panels are fixed to the aluminium head rails which ensure that they sit square without sagging and spring clips hold the PVC panels in the stile. Panel replacement when necessary is quick, easy and economical. PVC panels come in three different types. These are:
- Clear - fully transparent panels ensure maximum visibility for safety
- Semi clear - combines safety and privacy
- Opaque - ensure visual privacy
