B&D Garage Doors and Openers has introduced an interactive tool on their website that helps users match garage doors to their home’s facade.
Home owners, builders and designers can now take the guesswork out of matching different garage doors to the building’s exterior with the help of the new virtual modelling tool.
B&D Doors Australia national marketing manager Stacey Smith explains that the Design Centre greatly simplifies the decision-making process for customers by making the latest user-friendly visualisation tools available to them. The Online Visualiser provides an efficient way of accurately predicting how a specific B&D garage door will look with one’s home, without the guesswork and hassle of matching physical samples.
A powerful tool for new homeowners and developers, the Design Centre is also useful for those in the renovation market.
The interactive Design Centre on the B&D Doors Australia website allows users to upload a photo of an existing home or choose from one of 15 preloaded house styles. They can then select the size, model, style and colour of their desired B&D garage door in a step-by-step customisation process that allows them to visualise their combination and save each design as changes are applied.
The finished design can then be sent to a B&D Doors dealer to initiate the specification process. It can also be printed, converted to PDF for emailing and be shared via social media.
One of a suite of online services provided in B&D's recent website upgrade, the new Design Centre tool has been optimised to work across all platforms, including latest-generation computer devices such as Apple and Android tablets. Mobile application versions of the Design Centre are being planned.
B&D Doors Australia's new website also includes improved search capabilities, features and product listings.
