A Series RL3000 high speed rapid roll door was recently installed for a leading health food company at one of their western Sydney warehouses to control unauthorised access.
DMF International manufactured and installed the high speed door that also matched the architectural appearance of the warehouse building. Having worked with DMF previously, the customer chose them again for the new door requirement.
The Series RL3000 high speed door was installed to the same side as the existing security roller shutter door; this piggybacked solution required structural infills to provide not only good fixing, but also a strong seal. Along with remote control activation, the installation also required dual full width clear vision windows to allow adequate light into the premises.
An operational level of safety to the door was necessary, both electronically and visually, and so the safety yellow bottom rail was maintained – a standard feature of this door model. Twin safety photoelectric sensors are also built into the rapid door’s columns to prevent the door from closing if any form of traffic enters into the door opening while the door is open or in closing mode.
Not only do the windbars provide strength to the door blade against prevailing westerly winds, but the design also allows the individual panel sections to be replaced if they are damaged, unlike some products that require the whole door blade to be replaced. This feature helps reduce costs for repair, if needed.
Custom manufactured to size and specification in DMF’s Sydney factory, the rapid roll door is backed by full after sales service along with quick supply of any parts, whether standard or customised, to suit the specific door.
