DMF International recently installed insulated doors at a project that required a specialised door system to provide insulation to a chiller enclosure. The limited headroom in the enclosure meant sectional insulated panel doors would not fit into the application.
DMF provided Efaflex SST-US insulated doors with 80mm thick insulated door blades and an opening height of 7 metres for the enclosure. The doors operate at 1.5m/sec opening speed, and have the ability to contain a temperature of 5°C effectively, minimising the potential for product spoilage.
DMF International has been offering Efaflex rapid roll doors across Australia for over 13 years. Suitable for both internal and external applications requiring a high level of temperature control, these doors also provide good speed to minimise loss of the conditioned atmosphere.
Efaflex rapid roll doors feature door blades made from a PU foam core filled aluminium section, with U values down to 0.5W/m²K achievable, and available in thicknesses from 40mm to 100mm; door speeds of up to 1.5m/sec as standard, with design cycles of over 150,000 per annum; and maximum door clear opening sizes up to 8m H x 8m W. This model comes with an emergency opening lever in the event of power failure, and full locking for afterhours security as standard.
Efaflex is a German company, specialising in the design and manufacture of high speed roll doors. DMF International has partnered with Efaflex in Australia to provide sales and service throughout the country.
