SC-R230 stair tread nosing features heavy duty silicon carbide anti-slip grit and is supplied in a bright safety yellow for high visibility.
These stair treads are available in 230mm x 25mm x 750mm or 900mm sizes, however other lengths can be provided on request. SC-R230 stair tread nosing is supplied made to measure and can be used immediately once received.
Offering a long service life with minimal maintenance, this stair nosing has low thermal conductivity, is resistant to fire and corrosion. It is lightweight yet offers strong impact strength and effective slip resistant.
Installation of stair nosing is different depending on the substrate:
- Chequered plate / steel: Glue and screw nosing with Tek screws
- Concrete: Glue and screw nosing with self tapping concrete screws
- Timber: Fix nosing with suitable timber screws
- Grated stairs or grille: Fit nosing with universal saddle assembly
