Mood board one centres around the tessellated ‘Octagon & Dot’ design in shades of brown, red, vanilla and white. All four colours work harmoniously and present a level of sophistication and warmth to this mood board. Shown here with a Windsor border, this tessellation works perfectly with the play of colours when applied together. Adding craquelle Victorian subway tiles in brown and red also delivers a classical effect. These tile solutions work flawlessly as a wall application and are perfect for a Victorian period bathroom. Alternatively, applying tessellated Octagon & Dot to a pathway and adding Bowral bricks as a finishing touch really bring exterior spaces to life.
Mood board 2
Mood board two centres around tessellated design ‘Balmain’, a stunning pattern that creates an optical illusion with the play of colours. These colours are brown, vanilla, white and red, bringing a rich and sophisticated vibe to this mood board. The border added to this tessellation design is called ‘Deco’, presenting a hint of Art Deco design to this pattern design. Balmain has a complex geometry and often requires a large area to maximise the impact of the pattern. This tessellation works best on verandas, pathways and commercial spaces. Materials such as linen can be in terracotta browns and taupe colours to complement this tessellation. For that extra touch, gold and brass metal fixtures can be added to this mood board.
