Earlier this year, Leeson Group CEO, Peter Leeson was honoured to deliver a lecture as part of the UNSW School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE) seminar series.
The presentation delved into practical applications of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), offering a comparative analysis of cost and performance between facade-mounted and roof-mounted BIPV applications – particularly on Volt Solar Tiles.
In his address, Peter shared his enthusiasm, "It was an incredible experience to present at the UNSW SPREE department, discussing real-world applications of BIPV. My passion lies in renewable energy, with a strong focus on resource utilisation in the products we install. I had the privilege of speaking to PhD engineers, as well as master's and diploma engineering students, emphasising why rooftops present the most logical choice for solar installations.”
